Endoscopic Brow Lift

Over time, gravity causes a gradual descent of the forehead and eyebrows. People often compensate for this by lifting their eyebrows up, leading to horizontal wrinkles in the forehead. A drooping brow can cause an angry, sad, or tired appearance and can contribute to a prematurely aged appearance. It can also cause crowding of the upper lid area, contributing to the appearance of excess skin in the upper lids.

Endoscopic brow lift is the most technically advanced procedure available to elevate the brow. It also uses the smallest incisions, which are well hidden in the hairline. Dr Hellman uses a surgical telescope to visualize and release the firm attachments to the bone. He also weakens the muscles that cause wrinkles in the upper face. The elevated tissue is then secured in place with dissolvable implants so that the tissue will remain elevated as it heals and scars down below the skin. Because this is a minimally invasive procedure, recovery is much quicker than following a traditional brow lift.

For some patients, Dr Hellman will recommend a temporal brow lift. This procedure is similar to the full endoscopic brow lift, however the focus is only on the outer corners of the brow, which tend to fall
